Privacy notice
How we handle personal data received through this website. Last updated 17 September 2026.
Who we are
Blackpeak Limited (“Блекпийк Лимитед” ООД, UIC 206890190, entered in the Bulgarian Commercial Register; "Blackpeak", "we") is an M&A and corporate finance advisory firm based in Sofia. We are the controller of the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us through the contact form on this site or through our LinkedIn page.
What we collect and why
Contact form. When you write to us through the form we receive the name you enter, your email address and your message. We use them to reply to you and, where a conversation continues, to prepare for and carry out the engagement you have asked about. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and, where applicable, the steps needed to enter into a contract with you.
Website use. The site is static and sets no cookies of its own. It does not run advertising or third-party tracking scripts. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, requested page, browser type, time) for security and to keep the service running; these are kept for a short period and are not used to profile visitors.
Publications feed. If you subscribe to our RSS feed, your feed reader fetches the feed directly from our server; we receive no personal data beyond the server logs above.
Who processes your data
Form submissions are transmitted through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service that forwards your message to our mailbox. Web3Forms acts as our processor and does not use your data for its own purposes. The website is served by Cloudflare, which processes connection data as our hosting and security provider. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else, except where the law requires it or where you have asked us to involve a third party in an engagement.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within twelve months. Correspondence connected with an engagement is retained for as long as the engagement and our professional and statutory record-keeping obligations require.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you may ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, for its correction or deletion, for a restriction of processing, or for a copy in a portable format, and you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. To exercise any of these, contact us as described above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (cpdp.bg) or with the supervisory authority where you live.
Changes
We will update this notice when our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top of the page.
